One of my teachers just noticed the VAMPS signs on my car. He came in and asked what it was about. I explained who VAMPS was and he asked me to make him a CD of their music. His son is a good friend of Johnny Cash's son who lives in Nashville. I told him they weren't going to Nashville. He said it didn't matter....he would send it to his son who he guaranteed would pass it on. He said Johnny's son has a recording studio and, of course, is heavily into music and not just country. He is always looking for new stuff. Since I tend to be suggesting illegal things part of the time...lol....is it legal for me to burn a CD of their music (somehow I don't think so) or should I order another album and wait for it to arrive? Suggestions?

If you can afford to purchase the album on CD format, that'd be great. Otherwise, I think it'll be ok if you purchase the single/album on iTunes and then burn the CD. I was planning on doing that when I send the CD's to the radio stations. Unfortunately, I can't afford to buy the actual CD for every radio station I send it to. I can, though, afford to buy the single on iTunes, so it should be ok. I mean, you are still purchasing the single, right?

Yep, I own everything they've put out....or it is on pre-order. I tried to talk him out of this for a long time but he kept insisting that I give it a try. He ended with what do you have to lose? Either nothing will happen or the guy might like them and start promoting them.
