RE: AFTER THE CONCERT! - missykitty - 07-13-2009 We tried doing that in NYC the night before, but the people up front were like, "No, we don't need to, we know each other and won't let others in." And the number thing doesn't work always, but it's something... we can try that in Baltimore, but I don't know. x_x;; Some people leave though then, and don't come back until doors and that's not fair, that's the reasoning... :/ RE: AFTER THE CONCERT! - Nanarii - 07-13-2009 (07-13-2009, 02:56 PM)missykitty Wrote:(07-13-2009, 11:21 AM)Nanarii Wrote: Speaking of which, people were skipping the line around 12:00pm and 4:00pm. It was pretty unfair to the people (like myself) that got to the venue at 5:00am and were waiting for 15 hours at least~ Some people are just so inconsiderate. I really wish I could of gotten to the balcony; the view was a lot better up there and there was no pushing or shoving~ ;D :D Lmao no I was a part of the group siting next to them though. XD RE: AFTER THE CONCERT! - Julnyes - 07-13-2009 I haven't read through the entire thread (peeking in at work) but just as a note. I was with the first group of people in line (the people that were lined up Thursday Night / Friday Afternoon) and we never let anyone cut the line. People were turning away their friends, we even had a girl just walk up in the middle of us and sit down before we realized no one knew her and kicked her out of line. people came by repeatedly and asked us to hold them a place while they went off and did their thing - we all said No. The cutting was an issue with the big group behind us. as for the crowd, I am kinda bruised and stiff, but that is the price I pay for being in the front row ... and I saw the hair clumps as well - what the heck is the story behind those? eww. RE: AFTER THE CONCERT! - visualgurl - 07-13-2009 I was with MissyKitty's group that had the problem with the cutting. I'd like to apologize to everyone it wasn't fair. When we realized what was going on we tried to fix it but failed. >.< they were not very nice girls. so sorry everyone! RE: AFTER THE CONCERT! - Julnyes - 07-13-2009 Okay so I was in the front and I guess I had a more typical concert experience then some other people on the forum. It was hot, people were jostling quite a bit, but nothing extreme. I'm sorry some people had a hard time, but it isn't like the whole audience was brawling in New York. Everybody wasn't kung-fu fighing? Cos I heard those cats were fast as lightning........and that it was a little bit frightening. *runs away* RE: AFTER THE CONCERT! - Julnyes - 07-13-2009 (07-13-2009, 05:34 PM)Billkwando Wrote:(07-13-2009, 05:30 PM)Julnyes Wrote: Okay so I was in the front and I guess I had a more typical concert experience then some other people on the forum. Oh, how I love Billkwando's posts. xD RE: AFTER THE CONCERT! - Hedelex - 07-13-2009 LOL yeah!!! Billkwando's cool X-D mmm I DO have doubts about waiting on the line :-S What'd be the honor code? If you need to go to the bathroom can you leave for a second? X-D I go to the bathroom like... 20 times a day at least (no kidding!) what if I need to go and then the tickets get marked while I'm absent? ;_; What if I have a sugar low riot and sorta faint? it happened to me at Mexico's MONORAL gig, I was so excited that I couldn't eat for a couple of days before and I almost fainted... and lost my spot on the line T_T What if I have to save a spot for one friend that's working? (ok, that's unlikely X-D but might happen) I mean, around 98% of the people attending the shows won't read this, but at least we can play fair... so... what exactly would FAIR be? What do you think? We're talking about a multi-hour wait here. If people gotta multi-pee, no prob. If somebody needs to leave for 45 minutes to get some food, no prob. If ONE or TWO friends meet up with somebody already in line, probably no prob, unless 20 people do it. We all know how to be reasonable, regardless of the fact that a floor full of hairballs tell a different story (if you listen closely....cos their voices are quiet). |
