So what did you think of the DVD set?
I enjoyed the set and have no regrets over the purchase. I was lucky enough to get the special bag with it, too.
It certainly brought back a lot of memories. The sound on the DVD was clearer on some of the songs then I remembered. But then it might have been just me as I was so in shock by being there in the first place.
I wish they had included the MCs. I also wish there was more on that second disc! Way too short. I would have liked to seen more of them sight-seeing or just hanging out.
What? What?!? There are no MC's? No Ken talking about going to the museum, no hyde talking about how touched they are, to be at MSG?
I haven't watched mine, yet, and I'm going to cry, if those moments aren't on there! What would they have been thinking, to leave them off??

Well, Hyde did make the statment that they were the first band to ever play at MSG. But that was it. Yeah, I was waiting for the Ken stuff and was so disappointed.
Also, pay attention during Anata. You might see someone you know.
I watched the DVD recently. Definitely a great performance. It's a shame I couldn't make it to New York. =( - The lack of MC's is disappointing, but it doesn't detract from being worth a purchase.

I just think that when you pay about $135 plus shipping for this set, you shouldn't have to end up relying on some shaky fan video with bad audio, just to see the band addressing their fans. In English.
So, does anybody have a decent video of the MC's? Or failing that, shaky bad video :P ?

Oh I recoded Ken's MC, but my voice and laughter takes over sometimes, but still...maybe they'll release another DVD of the final shows in Japan [I bet that they'll do] and then have an extra DVD with ALL their World Tour MC's. Knowing L'Arc's marketing madness, that's what will happen.

What kind of DVD player do you already have? What's the brand and model number? Maybe we can find a code to make to make it region free!

Yeah, I think that they will release another set sometime this spring. They will cover other countries and Japan. However, since they've already released the MSG show, I'm not too optomistic about seeing the MCs. I just can't believe they wasted all of that second disc space!!

Thanks a lot but the one i had was the one that is with my LCD TV. but got a nice on eBay for $60 so it's not bad. And the quality is awesome!!
