So, I was looking at Megchan.com's translation of BEAST and I noticed that there was a translation for SAMSARA. I clicked it and ... it's rather elaborate, but wait... SAMSARA doesn't have lyrics does it?! It's just an instrumental track, isn't it? Have I been listening to the wrong song?

WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT?
Eeeee??? I put the first line into Google and this page came as a result:

Tsssss...

So there are no secret messages hidden in VAMPS' Samsara Icon_biggrin .
Perhaps megchan's admin mislabeled the song. Because if you look here http://megchan.com/lyrics2/romaji/samsara.html there's... well... quite a lot of lyrics. Yes, must have been a mislabel.
@_@ I know what SAMSARA means....it's defined as the cycle of birth, suffering, death, and re-birth I believe (I looked it up quite a while ago, so I may be wrong)

but the song itself, I'm pretty sure has no lyrics other than "samsara~"
ok, curiosity was prickled again. so this is what i found.

first and foremost, this is NOT VAMPS version of Samsara. the vocalizations are probably really only a repeating of the title by Miu Sakamoto, per the BEAST credits page.

the song VAMPkito and derMauersegler found listed as Samsara is one of the image songs for a character named Furude Rika, a miko or priestess in the series of novels, 8 pc games, manga and anime based on the murder mystery premise. oh, the series is named "Higurashi When They Cry (ひぐらしのなく頃に, Higurashi no Naku Koro ni?, literally When the Cicadas Cry)" per wiki.

for kicks, here's megchan's translation of these lyrics, which i listened to as i read the romaji to be sure it was the same song.

Samsara Trans by Megchan
Higurashi no Naku Koro ni version

That scene I saw once somewhere
Appears and disappears behind my eyelids
I spent countless nights
Waiting for just one morning
I dreamed without waking
In an endless maze

An empty shell, exhausted from crying
About sorrows I cannot argue with
Hollow and with nowhere to go
I just keep spinning; it will never end
I keep dancing
In a world that is now empty

With every hard night that passes
I nearly forget that smile
The fragments of formless hopes
Slip through my fingers
I feel like I'm losing myself, melting
Into the darkness
Of the endless maze
I can still hear the echoes
Of the summer crickets chirping
Locked inside my dreams

I keep searching
But if it will never happen
Then please tell me now
How to end this nightmare
I just keep spinning; it will never end
I keep dancing
In a world that is now empty

one can sorta see how it *might* get confused as a Hyde lyric, he has touched on these themes so many times. and yes, i know this isn't thurs disc, nor is this a L'Arc , VAMPS or Hyde song that we know of, as i haven't deciphered who wrote it yet. lack of Japanese skills sucks when trying to be scholarly or even merely curious. this is a link to a site about the series, or at least some info on this character. if anyone cares to explore a new something. ^ ^

please forgive me if i went way out of the drawings lines with my crayolas this time. but since this turned out to be what the question was about, i thought "let's find out just what this is that was found." shoot me if you like, you should know by now i cannot turn down this type of challenge. i just don't always share it. Thanks for sharing Icon_biggrin ! The song is very relaxing Icon_3nodding . Usually I don't like these high girl voices, but in this song it's okay. And the Rika character sounds interesting. The game sounds complicated, though Icon_eek (I'm not a game player so it might just be me...).
Well maybe it's one of those songs that are just instrumental and have lyrics that just never made it too the song, like (excuse the other J-rock reference) Gackt's Noah. I have seen a youtube video with the lyrics as well. But, they could be from megchan.com too...

these are 2 completely different songs. the music is not the same and the one i linked to above probably predates VAMPS SAMSARA by several years. but it has been my experience that song names are freely used. example, look at discographies of Gackt or Takanori Nishikawa(TMRevolution, abingdon boys school and Tetsuya's best buddy). one finds not just similar names to L'Arc/solo songs, but songs with exactly the same names and that doesn't really matter to anyone.

in this case, i think meg-chan simply came across lyrics to a song with that name and assumed it was the same perhaps. it wouldn't be all that hard to mistake if you are only marginally familiar with the work in question.
