to the people able to buy the nico points with an overseas visa card, i was wondering how you were actually able to do it. im currently trying with my visa and it's not working for me
i noticed on the page where you choose your payment method it says something like you have to authorize your card through your card's issuer page before you can use it on niconico. however, all the card issuers it links to seem to be japanese only. were you guys able to purchase with out doing that step? because i cant skip it, sadly >_<
i guess if i can't get it to work i'll just pray someone is able to record it ;_; thanks for any help guys!

Instead of clicking the verified by VISA thing or any of the authorization links, click on big button on the left that says JCB MASTERCARD VISA and proceed from there, entering your card info.
Hope it works for you...

yeah, i had tried that but with no luck. T_T it gives me an error message saying to do that pre-authorization thing.

Has anybody done or seen a rip of the Nico Nico stream meanwhile? I just asked Tenshin26100 from Live Journal for it, he wrote a friend of his was planning to record it once, but I don't know yet if he/she managed it.
