I think maybe the 666 cover was a bootleg thing. I saw the 666 so called dvd being sell here in Peru so maybe it was the same with the cover you mention, maybe you saw it on ebay or something. It happens ._.
Sorry for the delay everyone...I didnĀ“t know that I had so many HYDE pics ^^

Here it is:

And about RARE VAMPS Tour goods, this was from their very first tour:

This one shocked me when I went to search for goods the first time, I think that it was a limited time item ^^
^ It may be a bootleg or fanmade than. It has no dvd info - time, region, language, copyright, etc.

Looks very unofficial to me.

those photos were from a magazine spread of the period. RRNewsmaker Jan 2004 i think. so somebody just made themselves a dvd cover. it is way too easy to find these types of dvds and cds on auction sites.

if the material is previously released, which this wasn't, they merely copy the graphics, but either leave the distributing company off or have generated a name of their own to put in place of Sony/ Ki:oon or whatever. you will notice 1st that the goods are listed as new and sealed. they will show the front cover but not the back where the company logos and other info are located. and i've seen a few that will state boldly "product is as you see it" or "what you see is what you get". i take that to mean if you don't see something, it isn't there.

the best thing to do is familiarize yourself with what the legitimate goods look like to start with, and that goes for tour goods too. people used to say beware of goods from Hong Kong or Taiwan, but that isn't always true as Sony and other labels have branches in those places too.

and it isn't just on auction that bootleggers can get you. years back i got burned by an american distributer of anime, jpop and asian movies with what was advertised as "heavenly films" and "Piece of Reincarnation". they were but weren't legit, and it turned out they weren't even dvd, they were in the VCD format used a lot in continental Asia. didn't work on any cd/dvd player i had. i didn't get my money back but learned a valuable lesson. said distributer either changed their name or went out of business. i had gotten some legitimate anime and manga from them though, so how was i to know? did they even know? oh, another trick, and one that this included was additional content beyond what the original had. this was "Piece of Reincarnation" plus "and She Said" video plus "Nemuri ni Yosette". i didn't realize right off that that was a dead giveaway clue right there. those were officially released separately a year or more apart. it's a tough world out there for collectors if they aren't aware and careful. the old adage "buyer beware" is unfortunately so true sometimes. cheap doesn't always equate with forgeries either. Icon_gonk

I agree with fan-made. The copy that I have, which I believe is from the TV, doesn't have all of the songs that are listed. It also has beacoup interview footage on it. But then mine is not "official" either, so who knows.
Yep is fan made ^^ I see a lot of those here they are sold for under $10. Anytime you want to check if they sold it or not go to online stores like hmv or cd japan to see if they are on the list or even the official websites of the artists ^_^.
Oh yes!!! I was sold 666 ALBUM by someone, he sold it to me as "used" and I payed it as a legitimate used cd but... it was a copy! I didn't realize until like a month later, when I checked the box and it said "DVD included" or something like that... and there was no DVD inside T_T then I ckecked and it was a MIYA not a Ki/oon
while ordering the photobook I noticed it said Japan edition could that mean that there may also be an english version?
