This concert sounds so cool. I wish the East Coast shows were as big as the LA ones are always are.

Awww XD You gotta love how HYDE gets absorbed into his music. I think I also saw him crying after SWEET DREAMS during the Baltimore show... though he might have just been wiping sweat from his brow.

Which 2 songs did they do? & did they play "TIME GOES BY" at all? I remember Ju-ken having a cheat sheet @ the Vegas show w/some song lyrics lol (I'm pretty sure it was for that song) Icon_blaugh

The show sounds like it was great!! Can't wait to see the DVD^^
Great stories, all!

Were the cameras very interruptive or obstructive? Were they robotic or were there people (besides the official Vamps cameraman) all over the stage?
Awesome impressions everyone! I can't wait for the live dvd!
I was up front and in the middle so I think I'm going to be able to see myself lol. I was between Nao and Hedelex!

There were cameras in the stage over jin and moved around it to focus the crowd so they weren't a bother at all. ^^
sounds like a great show! really looking forward to the dvd. thanks to everyone on this forum for all of the fun and exciting stories. i really hate to see the tour end, but i have faith they'll be back. Icon_heart
I didn't think that I was going to have more fun camping out for longer but I did. I got there at a quater past midnight and while my friend held our spot I went on an epic journey trying to figure out what the hell to do with my car(>.< and it was so obvious) It was such a trip spending the night on the side of the road in hollywood like that. The fans where a lot of fun. I spent all day running around talking to everyone and I saw a lot of familiar faces from the Soma and from the An Cafe show earlier this year.
Let me tell you about the autograph signing! So I got a tour book to get signed. I was super nervous just standing there in front of them. I was staring at Hyde and he looked me dead in the eyes. I got really nervous and smiled and looked away. God! I was so nervouse. Kaz did have a very outgoing vibe. They were both really cool guys and I was really happy that they gave everyone who had been waiting in line while they handed out tickets their signature and a handshake. It was soooo cool!.. When Hyde signed my book he pointed at my (Loudness)shirt and said "nice shirt I like that band." I seriously almost died! He complemented me! AHHH!!!! I went kinda crazy for a while.
So the show was great as expected. They didn't play Made in Heaven so I guess that was a special San Diego treat and they did play Vampire Depression so that was really cool to get to hear live. Other than those two changes the setlist was EXACTLY the same. It was a good set for the DVD. Speaking of which, I really hope I'm on it! Once again they rocked out hardcore. Ju-Ken steals the stage if you ask me with the way he's all over the place bangin his head and interacting with the crowd nonstop. I tried to watch all of them. They really are all amazing musicians. Arimatsu with his hard hitting, very precise drum licks... Jin, who puts a wall of sound around everything... Ju-Ken completely SHREDs and rocks the stage like no other... Kaz who also totally shreds and has this cool, little badass attitude on stage... and Hyde who of couse takes the center stage bringing the esance of beuty all around him. I had a good view I let a few short people get in front of me. I was happy to see most everyone had a great time.
After the show we waited by their van to catch them leaving. As they got into the van I jumped over this baricade to get to side of the entrance to the parking lot that was right next to the van. I was right in fron of Kaz and Ju-Ken as they were leaving and the waved back. Ju-Ken stopped and gave me the metal hand(devil horns). He went on to poing at my shirt then give me a thumbs up. I yelled something that was probably around the lines of, "Fuck yeah! Loudness!" They closed the door and I waved goodbye to Hyde. He gave me a non-chalant wave goodbye. He looked kind of sad.
I got that vibe from him at the signing and after the show, that he was kind of sad that they're leaving. I really hope they come back soon because they are deffinitely one of the best bands I've ever seen. I would say that the performance ranks amungst my top shows, along with An Cafe, Ministry, and Stone Temple Pilots... actually I will give the Soma performance the rank of my best concert experience ever.
The whole week was totally awsome. I met a lot of really cool people who I hope to again see in the future. Thank you everyone who made this week so amazing.

awww he was crying? poor thing.

.... *gasp!* it was caught on film!! i am now even more excited to see the DVD lol just to see his beautiful tears.

I hope they don't take it out or anything. >_> He went backstage a little, then went to drink water to compose himself. Icon_crying Haidooo

I gae him thumbs up and a couple other people did too. And when he'd composed himself he gave me thumbs up back XD I need this DVD. Now.
IT WAS AMAZING~!!!

I got there at 5:10 am or so and I was number 86... I hadn't slept more than an hour in the past two days so I was feeling like a zombie when I was in line... but didn't sleep in line though. I signed the banner as soon as I got to the Wiltern and I must say it was stunning!! You did an amazing job H.P.!!! You're so talented and very very nice ^^
I also saw the fanbook! it was beautiful!!!

The weather was really nice; it wasn't as hot as I had expected it and I think it was cloudy in the morning?. Anyways, time went by soo fast!!
The signing session was GREAT!!!!! K.A.Z was super super nice! he was smiling a lot~!! I love him so much!! I was soo nervous that when we shook hands I only got to say ARIGATOU~!!
Then HYDE >.<, he signed my album and I gave him some presents I brought with me.. a note from a friend in Argentina and a silver cross that I got for him about 2 years ago in Mexico. When I gave him the cross I told him it was Mexican silver (mekishiko no gin desu) and he was like "O.O oooohhh thank you!!!..... [and when I was leaving] so much~!!" it was marvelous!! and they look soo young!!
When I got out I cried a little, the day before was my birthday so meeting VAMPS was the most amazing birthday gift ever!!

I got to film the line, I hope to upload it to youtube soon ^^ I met some people from the forum there and I had a great time waiting!! As I said before, time went by fast! It didn't feel 14 hours in line at all!

EDIT: here's the video:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pHSF48og1T8
it's still being processed so hopefully the quality of the video will improve

When we got in we all ran to the pit and I was pretty close, a few rows in front of the microphone. Some of the messages on the screen were really funny, others were not so much. The opening band was reeeaally good! I had never heard of them before but I will start listening to their music ^^

When VAMPS got on stage we went crazy!! lots of pushing, yeah, but it was worth it! and I saw HYDE, KAZ and Ju-Ken perfectly... Aritmatsu and Jin were in the back and I could see them but not as clearly...
I think they opened with "LOVE ADDICT" (or at least it was one of the first ones) and we were all singing and dancing and jumping~!! HYDE's voice is EXCELLENT!! K.A.Z is a magnificent guitarist!! Ju-Ken, he's amazing! and really fun to watch!!
Other songs I remember are (not in order):
Redrum
Vampire Depression
hideaway (he let us sing some of the parts)
Trouble (which is really fun live!)
Life on Mars?
Evanescent
Hunting
Sex, Blood, Rock N' Roll
Lucy...
Jesus Christ
Sweet Dreams (HYDE looked so emotional singing this, but I didn't notice him crying >.<)
It's Sad
Countdown
Dolly
Encore:
I gotta kick start now
Midnight Celebration

I don't know what else to say! We sang along to all the songs! it was the most __________ concert ever~!! (yes, there is no word to describe it) But I really wanted to hear Time Goes By >.<! I hope they play it when they come back!! I'm sure this will be an awesome DVD!

The cameras were all manned by live bodies as far as I can tell. There was one "robotic" type on a long arm, but even it had someone at the back directing it. They are not going to be in the way at all.
