Someone on twitter posted a screenshot of a booking email: http://twitter.com/#!/almightychaii/stat...40/photo/1

Not sure if they are still booking but if you want to try for the "front rows" and be paid you could try shooting them an email.

Of course, it would be sucky if the concert were full of a bunch of non-fans.
is this real ? i don't think they need any non-fans in the concert ! only if there are empty seats available.
They're going to put them in the Front Seats, so they can have a Good Looking "audience," on film. I can't express how demoralizing this is.

While all of us fools are paying money we can't afford and dragging ourselves across countries and continents, scrambling for closer tickets we can't get, sitting back 15 rows or off to the sides, we'll be sitting behind a bunch of actors hand-picked from their head shots, who're paid to be there, and don't even know who L'Arc~en~Ciel is.

It's like they're ashamed of their actual fans.

Yeah, I think it is rather harsh. Though I did hear that band/staff might not know about it and it could be done by US production staff or something.

They don't strike me as the type to do things like that. I understand filling in empty seats for the dvd but they could just get everyone inside then upgrade people to empty front seats so the crowd is nice and full up front.

How do we know this is even real?
It was posted on Gotham Casting's twitter page and sent out through their newsletter. However, the page and the post where removed (perhaps the casting is done and they've got all they need?)
I don't think Laruku NEEDS a more enthusiastic crowd. Hahaha.
Has anyone bothered to check with the booking agency or with their management?
if this is true, then it's sucks! I can't believe it, they were so proud (producers) to change the venue and now they need people to complete the MSG, even if it's marketing stuff I hate it!! I couldn't make it to NY instead I'm going to Europe. whoever is behind this has no idea how many people love l'arc en ciel and how we can be enthusiastic, and by the way, what's the need of having good looking people? in Vamps DVD (Chile's concert) we were who we are and they filmed like that, so I don't really get it... (sorry for my english, I made some mistakes with verbs and mispelled words for sure, but can't be helped... )

In first post I linked to a twitter post with a screenshot someone posted of their confirmation email from the agency saying they're booked.

I asked someone who is working on the tour but he didn't know about it. However, he's not producing the show so is not involved with everything.

L'Arc pages just posted this:

Quote:Many fans are wondering about the advertisement from the casting company regarding the DVD shoot of L’Arc-en-Ciel’s MSG show this Sunday.

Management is not involved in this. The company is not giving away front row tickets to the show, and this has nothing to do with your purchased tickets.

If you already bought tickets, don't worry and enjoy the show.

We’re looking forward to seeing you

I have heard the US production company might be doing this without the knowledge and permission of management.

(Hmm, they said they weren't involved but didn't say the call was fake.)
