Just curious - how much is that tour package from Japan, airfare and all?

I'm going to spending almost $3k for the hotel and airfare from Philadelphia. But I'm also staying May 29th-June 6th...it would be just wayyyy too much travel (13 hour flight and Hawaii is 6 hours behind me) to only spend 1 or 2 days there. @_@

Yeah, it is the 1st. Then there are separate tour packages for members on the 2nd.

I don't remember the cost. Didn't care because I am not going. Icon_crying
the packages cost around US$2300 - $3300 up.
depends on the standard or deluxe class hotels, days you are staying, and etc...

the 2nd round application for Hawaii Tour is for Japanese residents only.

it cost around the same from Philadelphia to Hawaii..

Wait...the 1st round application was open to non-Japanese residents? But I thought you had to be a Japanese resident to even be a LE-CIEL member? I'm so confused. @_@

I figured it would be cheaper to fly to Hawaii from Japan than Philly. o_O My $3k cost is also for TWO people (my fiance is going with me). Maybe their package includes a super fancy hotel? I am leaning toward staying at the Waikiki Park Shore Hotel.

I am a member of Le_Ciel and I live in California. You just need a deputy service to set up your membership service. Not cheap, but the only way to do it at the moment.

Yeah, I just found that out the other day from a friend. It's too late now to help me get tickets though. :/ I did contact one of the services for info though. I still would like to join, just wish I knew about these services sooner!

When they send you the e-mail about purchasing a chance for the tickets they usually include the date that you had to join by. I think it is around 6 months or so previous.

Wait, so the tickets are by chance only for LE-CIEL members? It's not like a first come first serve type thing? I thought they could just flat out purchase the package and there wasn't any "chance" involved. Though I guess that doesn't really change anything for those of us who aren't members. x.x

I just want some answers already. The longer I wait before booking my flight+hotel the more expensive it will get. Plus if they wait really long, I won't have enough time to train a temp at work to fill in for me while I'm out. @_@ ARGH.
I wonder why there has been such a long delay? I mean, the ticket prices definitely should have been announced by now, at least. We're almost a month out and flying to Hawaii from anywhere this time of year is expensive.

I hope tickets get released soon. ._.
My friend just told me he called the Waikiki Shell and they told him tickets are going on sale this Saturday! Don't know the time though.
Seriously?! That's awesome. Thanks for the info!
