Okay so I'm coming up all the way from Albany (OR) to the Portland show, and I'm going to need to know how long the show would typically last, so I'll know if I'll have to rent a hotel room to stay overnight or not. (Because if the show runs late I'll miss my train and be stranded till morning)

I realize it's a little early to know how long the VAMPS shows are this tour, and opening acts haven't been announced yet, but if anyone gets any information, please inform me. It will be GREATLY appreciated!! ^_^
I don't really know exactly how long the show will last...but, according to Amtrak last train will depart at 9:10, so probably you're not going to catch your train. You'd better book an hotel room or find someone who can drive you home...are you going with your mom?
My mom is coming with me, but she has anxieties about driving long distances on the freeway, and I don't have my license yet. We already looked up the Amtrak schedule, and she told me the last train or bus (I can't remember which one) leaves at 11:45; which could be just perfectly on time if it works out that way.

I think I'm going to have to wait until after the 11th (VAMPS first US show) and ask others who have gone how long their show was.
If I were you, I'd plan on staying a night in a hotel. You probably don't want to have to rush to the train right afterward, and then what if you missed it? :-/
Yeah, I've thought about that, but I have cats that will be waiting at home for me to feed them, and I don't know yet if we'll have the money to stay overnight. >_<

I can't find any train-bus that leaves at 11:45...yeah, Amtrak web page could be wrong, but you'd better re-check the information. If you can depart near midnight, then you should be fine...there's no way the concert will last more than 4 hours (they typically play 18 songs and they tend to be punctual).

Anyway, if you have to spend the night in Portland, you should check hotels near the airport that are kinda cheap (you'll have to pay taxi, though)...and you must hurry up with the reservation, because hotels with available rooms for that date, are just a few.
For example, this one
http://www.hojo.com USD 60-70 (tax included) for the 3 of you.

You will be out home for less than 24 hours, so if you leave a bowl full of food and another one full of water, your cats should be fine (i love my dog, but there's no need to be overprotective of one's pets). I guess you can ask a friend or a neighbor to check your house and cats now and then.

Rock concerts typically last anywhere from an hour and a half to two hours (if they have an opening band). So, the show should end by 11:00pm, maybe even a little after. I just check Amtrak.com and the last train leaves at about 10:46 pm. So, you have several options:

1. You can try taking the Greyhound bus or whatever bus services Oregon offers.

2. Convince a family friend or relative to drive with you and your mother to the show (and back).

3. You can carpool with someone here on the VAMPS USA forum

4. Or, you can just simply leave the concert a little early.

To be quite honest, I'd rather leave the concert a little early, than miss it completely. I mean, the most you'll miss would probably be an encore song. The band members don't usually stick around after the show, especially when they're still on the road. I hope this information is helpful to you and I hope you can find some sort of solution. Good luck!
Thanks for the suggestions^^ It looks like if the timing is good we're going to take the Greyhound bus (it leaves at 11:45)

Although does anyone know if VAMPS are going to stay after any shows to meet fans? I would hate to miss that opportunity! XD
They never stay after the show specially if they are doing a meet and greet before the show ^^".

Eh?
I don't have my tickets yet, because i placed them on will call, but, according to VAMPS MySpace and TicketsWest the show should start at 8:00 PM...so why it should end past 11:00 PM? that's more than 3 hours

and
i still can't find a train/bus to Albany past 9:10 PM in Amtrak.com (i'm kinda worried, because i may use the train to visit other places)
