VAMPS + American Street Team +

Hey everyone!! J has just informed me that he sent out the VAMPS demo CD's to radio stations on the 15th. VAMPS-tastic!! You know what that means right? The stations should have gotten the CD's by now, so I need as many people as possible to start calling radio stations. If you are interested in doing so, please respond to this thread. I want to get an idea on the number of people that may be able to call. If there is enough of us, this may very well work. If we can get VAMPS played on popular stations like KIIS FM or KROQ, that would be EPIC. As I'm sure you all know, Japanese rock music isn't really played on American radio, if ever at all. Therefore, if we can do this, not only will we be making major progress for VAMPS, but for J-Rock in general. If we don't succeed, then we can at least say that we tried, right?

We've got to be organized about this. Again, this is going to take as many people as possible. It's not going to work if the same 5 people call every single day. There are enough of us on this forum. If every single one of us on this forum kept calling KIIS FM, for example, all day for at least 3 days straight. If we managed to somehow tie up their phone lines, they may very well listen. Of course, this is wishful thinking, but it will take many of us to accomplish this. Remember, there is strength in numbers and I believe it can be done.

I know many of you work, so we need to see how many of us can do this as soon as possible. Once we have some wiling participants, we can then figure out a good time to call the stations simultaneously. If you have any other suggestions, by all means...

AnyVAMPS, have a good one! Let's kick-start this project into action!

Much VAMPS-love,
H.P.
I'm sticking to online stalking forms through their website, cause It'd be too expensive to call from so far away! but I'll do my best ^_^

How about consolidating all of the stations that received the demos and their phone numbers in a reply here so all of the newer people who joined this forum can print out the info and start calling, too? Might be easier to have it all lumped together in one spot. Just a thought.....
