1. How do we get these "special passes" after the show?
2. How many "special passes" are there?

Here is my guess. When L'Arc~en~ciel came the last time, people had to get special stickers on the back of their Otakon badges in order to attend the concert. I believe that the "special passes" are slightly the same in that respect. I think that the "special VAMPS line" for picking us our Otakon passes is where we will get the "special passes". This is just a guess, I suggest that we confirm this with someone from Otakon staff before jumping to conclusions.
Best thing to do is to just calm down! <3

So if that's the case there seems to be much less worrying. We just need to have panic attacks over the line. You know, I really think that if the line isn't strongly enforced, it will become two lines. Some crazy people, I'd bet on, won't want autographs and will complain about the line. So the WORST thing will be that the line will become two: Concert goers, and the screwed people who want autographs. >.< That will be up in the air until we get there. Plus the other concerts.... How on earth do you have more than one concert at the same time?? What was up with that again? Maybe opening acts for VAMPS? Maybe...? But anyway, the line is going to be hell. ^_^ Hopefully me and the huge-ass banner can get in the front of the line...

I don't think the two other bands are the opening acts (if that's what you mean^^; ). I [unfortunately lol] get the Sonar e-newsletter, and the two bands listed are performing at Sonar's two other (smaller) 'rooms'.

What made Sonar do this...I'd like to know, but I tweeted them asking how the fcuk they're gonna handle the lines for three separate shows. tbh..not looking forward to the response XD >.>;
XD! Yeah.... hopefully they can clarify the line issue a little bit... Did you mention possibly VAMPS would have two line?
^ oops..I didn't Icon_cry but once I get a reply, I'll shoot them another tweet Icon_3nodding
It seems every time we get an answer to one question we're left with even more questions.

I am curious about this line issue too. I'm not planning on doing the autograph session, so I want to know how this will affect me.

If, for example, I arrive early and I'm the 3rd person in line then after the autograph session will I still be 3rd in line? Will all the autographees get in front of me? behind me? Will they give out numbers as people arrive and whatever they're number is will be where they are in line?

This is a mess that just keeps getting messier.

And us autographees want to know if we'll get our spots back after the autograph session too. >.>

yes, i get that e-newsletter too. that's why i posed this question a ways back about the other 2 rooms and their (looks like) multiple bands. one of those shows starts at 6pm, ok, they would then be out of the way. but the other show is listed at 8 pm, same as VAMPS, but in the smaller TalkingHeads room. it's bad enough to know you'll have to deal with standing room only crowds jostling you around for the show you're going to. to think there might be hassles just being in line to get in from other folks wanting to go to a different show...that's bad planning on the venue's part. and almost seems like they're just trying to cash in on what seems to be a good thing with Otakon starting the next night, new blood that might be enticed in. maybe VAMPS is close to sell-out and they hope to draw the disappointed in anyway? i dunno, but it sucks. this club doesn't look all that big from the pics we had early on. not any room outside for one line really, much less 3. and heaven's to betsy, it's a Thursday night by jinkies! not even the weekend. Icon_eek

i have another question, since this thread seems to have become a catch-all for Sonar problems, worries etc. so, we have our gear we want autographed and the necessities for standing in line all day. for some, like me, this also includes things like insulin, snacks, blood sugar monitor, water...get my drift? where in hoolies are we supposed to stash our goodies, which might also include new merchandise(another worry there), so they don't get scattered, or stepped on by the sweating horde of gyrating VAMPSome fans, including ourselves?Icon_eh
and as to tour goods, missykitty was saying in NY the merch table was after you got in the door, before going into, in this case, the Main Stage area. will the other bands also be selling tshirts and stuff? will we have to scramble to get into a line there too? will people going to other shows be able to get in VAMPS goods line? cause that would just piss the hell out of me if they did and we couldn't get the few items that will probably be offered. ok. i quit with the questions at the moment. this is just crazy. sorry guys, insomnia talking here. gah...!Icon_stressed i know, i need to go chill, or better yet sleep for more than an hour. m_ _m
... *headdesk* ...just my response to everything right now. *headdesk*
Haha, yes, it would be bad if the non-VAMPS fans could buy VAMPS merch.

If we're all sharing a line (hopefully not) then we have to make sure that ONLY VAMPS fans get glowsticks, sign banner/fanbook/card. I didn't donate money so that a bunch of fans of another band can come in a swoop our glowsticks and take up room on our banner.

Or write retarded stuff on it, depending on the crowd.
I'm still worried about the merch issue, for autographs I don't want to waste time waiting in line just to be in front of hyde and kaz with nothing for them to sign D: has anyone gotten official word if there will be stuff for sale at the meet and greet?

also what if some people enter for the 6pm show then try to sneak over to the room the vamps will be playing at and wait there for the show? is that possible? (not saying I would do that, just wondering if that could happen cause it would be terrible if it did xD)
