According to VAMPS' official Facebook page status update, the boys are now in L.A. recording. Check it out:

いよいよ、VAMPS LIVE 2013スタートまで、1ヶ月を切りました!!
ツアーの準備に大忙しですが、
VAMPSは、只今L.A.

Manager M's Latest Report

At last we are at the one-month countdown to the start of VAMPS LIVE 2013!!
Though VAMPS are super busy preparing for the upcoming tour, they are currently in L.A.!!

Why are they in L.A, you ask?!
They are here for the latest recording♪
Even though the weather is wonderful, they are at the studio, mixing...
VAMPS are dying to start the tour!

The studio in L.A. is nothing like a studio in Japan - it's absolutely amazing!(・∀・)
There is even a pool table here!
In the refrigerator - a big barrel of K.A.Z's favorite Root Beer... (laugh)
Compared to the size of Coca-Cola bottle next to it...the barrel looks HUGE! (*゜0゜)

Despite struggling with jet lag,
VAMPS continue their work overseas ... — in マネ通信.

LOOK AT THAT ROOT BEER. LOOK AT THAT ROOT BEER. IT'S HUGE.

Er... I mean, hopefully this means that they'll add some US dates too! Considering that Ahead and Replay were both (presumably) recorded in Japan, it will be interesting to truly examine the difference between the sounds in Ahead/Replay and the rest of the album and how the tracks mingle with each other despite the different studio.

If you listen to all three of HYDE's solo albums, you'll notice that they have a very distinctively different sound. Not just in genre, but in terms of dynamics and brightness. The same can be said for VAMPS and Beast. You can definitely tell which was recorded in Japan and which was recorded in LA. I anticipate this album will have a similar production quality to Faith and Beast. Simply can't wait to hear more!

Did I mention that Root Beer is freaking huge? It even has a little dispenser at the bottom to pour out just the right amount.
lol oh my god, that root beer! Jeeze, K.A.Z, someone has a drinking problem...
I also hope they add some U.S. dates, I guess K.A.Z loves his rootbeer!!

U.S. tour dates are pretty much guaranteed, but it's just a matter of where. VAMPS' shows have done well in the past and it has already been mentioned that the U.S. is definitely on the map for the tour. I believe the last I heard on the issue was that the tour was to begin in the U.K., then stretch to the U.S., or something like that.

Oh, I found it. Here's where I read it:

My suspicion is that the world tour will either commence later this year, or possibly even next year. But I guess we'll see what happens. ;)
